With our new program start date, milestone types and periods, you can now create a VIP program that perfectly aligns with your business goals and your customers’ preferences. 

Let’s delve into the exciting features:

Program start date:

Introducing the “Program Start Date” option that revolutionizes how VIP tiers are allocated. With this feature, you can now effortlessly gather historical customer data, summarize their past points and spending, and allocate VIP tiers from the starting point of your program. This means your customers can immediately enjoy the perks and benefits they deserve based on their past engagements with your brand.

Milestone Types:

Choose between two milestone types to calculate your customers’ VIP tiers:

a. Amount spent:

Using this option, your VIP program will consider the total money a customer has spent with your store within a specific time period to determine their VIP tier. This spent is calculate based on the loyalty make a purchase activity, which also provide the option to exclude shipping and taxes, ensuring a more accurate reflection of your customers’ true spending.

b. Points earned:

With the points-based milestone, your VIP program will calculate customers’ tiers based on the total loyalty points they’ve earned within a given time frame. This allows you to reward customers for their engagement and loyalty, encouraging repeat purchases and increased order values.

Milestone Periods:

Once you’ve selected your milestone type, you can set the time period within which customers have to achieve their VIP tier. Choose between the following options:

1. Their lifetime as a rewards member:

Opting for this milestone means that once a program member achieves a VIP tier, they will retain that tier indefinitely. This ensures long-term loyalty and encourages customers to continue engaging with your brand.

2. One calendar year:

With this milestone period, your VIP program considers all customer activities within one calendar year to determine their tier for that year and the following year. Customers need to earn enough points or spend to requalify for their tier in the next calendar year. This approach is ideal for businesses with frequent customer purchases, aiming to increase repeat purchases and average order values.

3. 365 days from last tier upgrade:

We’ve also introduced a customer-centric approach where a customer will remain in a tier for at least 365 days from their last tier upgrade date. After 365 days, we’ll recalculate the points or spending made in the past year and assign them to an appropriate tier. This ensures that customers have ample time to enjoy the benefits of their tier while giving them a clear path to progress further.
